Meet Elrhy Suminguit, one of our Bookkeepers. Elrhy started with Nexis in June 2022 and works in our Philippine office.
Elrhy’s role as bookkeeper involves bank reconciliations, checking and approving invoices, preparing monthly IAS and quarterly BAS’s, payroll preparation and annual Single Touch Payroll (STP) finalisation and Taxable Payments Annual Report (TPAR).
We sat down with Elrhy to learn more about his role at Nexis and how he spends his free time.
Stress relievers
Outside of work, Elrhy loves to go to karaoke bars, relax on the beach and catch up on his favourite anime shows.
If Elrhy was a crayon
He would be a green crayon, because it symbolises healing, tranquillity, nature vitality and renewal. Also because he finds it to be a soothing colour.
His greatest inspirations
His greatest source of inspiration is his parents. Who have tackled challenges head on and are great role models for resilience, which continues to inspire him daily.
Favourite karaoke songs
Elrhy’s favourite karaoke songs are “New Divide” by Linkin Park and “Season in the Sun” by Westlife.
Best place to relax
There are many beautiful places to relax in the Philippines, but Elrhy’s favourite relaxation spot is Virgin Island in Bantayan, Cebu, Philippines.
